Pozdrav, da li mi netko može reći kako točno funkcionira STC na godištima 2001./2002.

U manualu za 2001./2002. kaže:

Stability and Traction Control (STC) - Anti-spin system (option)
The STC system is designed to help reduce wheel spin by limiting power to the drive wheels if they begin to lose traction. At speeds over 25 mph (40 km/ h), the STC system monitors and compares all four wheels. If one of the drive (front) wheels shows any tendency to slip, such as when driving on slippery roads, the difference in speed is immediately detected. This triggers a signal to the engine management system, which will reduce engine torque (by reducing fuel) until the differential is corrected. This torque reduction is handled in stages, and reaction time is extremely fast. The system can be switched on or off by pressing the button on the center console for at least half a second (see page 38). The text window will briefly display "STC off" and the indicator lightStability system in the instrument panel will be ON when you have switched the system off. The STC system comes on each time you start your car.

1. Traction control (TC)
This function is designed to help reduce wheel spin by transferring power from a drive wheel that begins to lose traction to the wheel on the opposite side of the car (on the same axle). TC monitors and compares the rotational speed of the drive wheels. If one of the drive wheels shows a tendency to spin, the difference in speed is immediately detected. This triggers the Anti-lock Brake System, which brakes the spinning wheel until the difference in rotational speed is corrected.
TC is most active at low speeds, and a pulsating sound will be audible when the system is regulating wheel spin. This is quite normal. This is one of the STC/DSTC's permanent functions and is not affected when the button on the center control panel is pressed.
2. Spin control (SC)
The spin control function is designed to help prevent the drive wheels from spinning while the car is accelerating. This is done by temporarily reducing engine torque to the drive wheels, which helps improve stability and tractive force.
Under certain circumstances, such as when driving with snow chains, or driving in deep snow or loose sand, it may be advisable to temporarily switch off this function for maximum tractive force. This is done by pressing the STC/DSTC button on the center control panel for at least a half a second.


E sad, da li to znači da na modelima 2001./2002. STC samo elektronički smanjuje snagu dok na modelima 2003. upotrebljava kočnicu na kotaču sa manjom trakcijom da bi kroz diferencijal prenio snagu i u drugi kotač; ili se Volvo jednostavno detaljnije izražava u manualima od 2003.g??

Moj je 2002 god. koristi i kočnicu. Taj dio šljaka dosta brzo, kako su i naveli , ali onaj dio s engine menagmentom radi užasno sporo na D5, ne znam kako je na benzincu.

Nije ista stvar. Ovaj sistem koji mi imamo je glup i primitivan i sluzi samo za pomoc kada kotaci proklizu. Nema mogucnost ispravljanja auta kada izadje iz putanje.
Od 2004. dolazi pravi TC koji moze djelovati na svaki kotac posebno.

Čini mi se da ti govoriš o DSTC-u koji je zapravo ESP od volva; ja sam pitao za TC
